3 Who is filling it in
Print one sheet per student from a class list
Give it a CSV with an ID column and a name column. Each student gets their own sheet with the ID already filled in and their name printed — no mis-bubbled numbers, no unreadable handwriting, and nothing is uploaded.
4 Answer key optional
Type the key once here and you get a matching key.json the
marker loads directly, plus a filled-in key sheet for your records. Leave it blank
if you would rather type the key into the marker later.
5 Check and download
The check draws a specimen with known answers, renders it the way a scan is rendered, and hands it to the marker. If the marker does not read back exactly what was drawn, the downloads stay locked.
6 Did it print right? optional
Print one sheet, scan it on the machine you will use for the real batch, and drop it here. This is the only check that exercises your printer, your paper and your scanner together — which is exactly where the failures live.
